WELLSBURG - Irving Berlin's biggest Broadway hit "Annie Get Your Gun" will be staged at Brooke High School at 6:30 p.m. April 7-9 at the school's auditorium.

The musical is a fictionalized account of legendary sharpshooter Annie Oakley, played by Taylor Stuck, and her rise to fame in "Buffalo" Bill Cody's Wild West Show.

During her ascent she falls for Frank Butler, played by Clifford Welch, who is torn between his love for Annie and his own pride.

With Native American dances, rollicking humor, and the well-known songs "There's No Business Like Show Business" and "Anything You Can Do," the legendary musical will keep the audience laughing, tapping and singing along, said Carla Stone, the production's stage director and an English teacher at the school.

Also leading the production as musical director is Nicolas Taylor, the school's choir director; and serving as stage managers, students Tyler Cooper and Jessica Kuna.

The cast also includes Nicholas Oliveira as "Buffalo" Bill Cody, Wendy Wells as Dolly Tate, Ares Ensell as Charlie Davenport, Russell James as Mac, Tyler Revels as Pawnee Bill and Jacob Robey as Sitting Bull.

Rounding out the cast are: Alexandra Basil, Maxwell Hardt, Cailtlin Luck, Kassidi Reitter, Brent Kimball, Jorden Harlan, Matthias Naill, Samantha Alkire, Taylor Bryan, Dan Nixon, Morgan Wagner, Alexis Haught, Katie Wilson, Jake Hruschak, April Baumgardner, Codey Perrone, Zach Teaff, Avery Drake, Cody Schwertfeger, Mikaela Keener, Megan Cook, Gabby Bennett, Jenna Ryniawec, Becca Nixon, Kylee Grzybeck, Shelby Wade, Amy Marosz, Chelsi Parr, Marissa Marino, Mia Cousar, Stephanie Barchiesi, Kylie Fodor, Ashley Sims, Alicia Sims, Raeann Harlan, Kayla Adams, Hillary Snyder and Christa Bland.
