WEIRTON - The Old Stone Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg, W.Va., was the setting for the Jan. 22 wedding that united Laura Conway and Craig Hurd in marriage. The 5:30 p.m. ceremony was celebrated by the Rev. Dexter Taylor.
The bride was escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her parents, Charles and Sandra Conway of Richmond, Va.
The groom is the son of Robert and Lori Hurd of Weirton.
Emily Conway of Richmond, Va., served as her sister's maid of honor.
Lucas Helba of Weirton was the best man.The usher was Ryan Gutwald, cousin of the groom, of Carnegie, Pa.
A reception was held at the Greenbrier, White Sulpher Springs, W.Va., following the ceremony.
The newlyweds took a wedding trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of the University of Georgia and is a teacher at Pole Green Elementary School in Richmond, Va.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Fairmont State University and is employed as a housing inspector by Cityside Corp. in Richmond, Va.
