from staff reports

PITTSBURGH - Direct from a Broadway engagement, "RAIN - A Tribute to the Beatles" will make its debut at Heinz Hall on Jan. 11-16.

"RAIN" performs the full range of the Beatles' discography live onstage, including songs the Beatles themselves recorded in the studio but never performed for an audience.

Together longer than the Beatles, "RAIN" delivers a completely live, note-for-note performance of early hits to later classics, including "I Want To Hold Your Hand," "Hard Day's Night," "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Let It Be," "Come Together" and "Hey Jude."

The show is a special presentation of the PNC Broadway Across America - Pittsburgh series, presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh Symphony and Broadway Across America.

Performance times are 7:30 p.m. Jan. 11-13; 8 p.m. Jan. 14; 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Jan. 15; and 6:30 p.m. Jan. 16.

Tickets, available for $21 to $62, are available at the Box Office at Theater Square, online at or by calling (412) 392-4900.
