WELLSBURG - Corrine Nicole McConnaughy and Derek Robert Englert were united in marriage June 12, 2010, at the Bension United Methodist Church in Raleigh, N.C. with the Rev. Kristina Yeatts officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Dorsen and Patricia McConnaughy of Wellsburg.
The groom is the son of Bruce and Judy Englert of Okeana, Ohio.
Mallory Roadman was the maid of honor, and Francis McCoy was best man.
Other attendants included friends of the bride and groom: Kara Tennant, Julie Stevens, Paige Hatley, Fred Bartz, Joseph Donough and Colin McConnaughy, brother of the bride.
Ellie and Hadyn McKee, cousins of the bride, served as junior attendants.
The reception was held at the Capital Room at 1705 Prime in Raleigh.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Brooke High School and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University with a master's degree in elementary education. She is a third-grade teacher in the Wake County Public School System.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of LaSalle High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He is a process control engineer with Rovisys in Apex, N.C.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Raleigh.
