STEUBENVILLE - Robert and Shirley Porter celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Wednesday. They were united in marriage Sept. 8, 1960, in the Presbyterian church by the Rev. Joseph Duckwall.
Shirley is the daughter of the late Ralph and Helen Reynard.
Robert is the son of the late Peter and Cecelia Porter. He is retired after 31 years of service with the city of Steubenville.

The anniversary was celebrated with a family dinner.
