SHADES OF THE PAST -- A Norfolk Southern special observation train for operating supervisors made a tour through Jefferson County this morning. The passenger train is equipped with cars and locomotives that were former full-time passenger equipment during the heyday of passenger railroading. Norfolk Southern handles freight shipments through 22 states.
