FOLLANSBEE - Vespy F. and Ilona Varga Poggi of Follansbee celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to the West Coast that included visits to Lake Tahoe, Yellowstone National Park and Mount Rushmore.
The couple were married July 2, 1960, in St Anthony Catholic Church by the Rev. Allison.
They have three children, Floyd and Karen, both of Reno, Nev., and Mary Jo Grantonic of Wintersville; two grandchildren and one great- grandchild.

He is retired from Carpenters Local 186 of Steubenville. She is a retired employee of Mammoth Plastic factory.
