MINGO JUNCTION - John and Betty Jones Pesta of Mingo Junction celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary Saturday.
The couple were married April 10, 1948, in the Slovak Presbyterian Church.
She is the daughter of the late Howard and Floy Jones. His parents were the late Andrew and Susan Pesta.

They are the parents of eight children: John Jr., Patty Wentworth, Frank, Steve, Jeff and Amy Reasoner and Judy and Joseph, who are deceased. They have 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
