FOLLANSBEE - Amanda Marie Spangler and Ronald Anthony Recchio, both of Wheeling, exchanged wedding vows May 30 in St. Joseph's Cathedral, Wheeling, with the Rev. John Gallagher officiating.
Parents of the couple are Sara and Paul Spangler of Wheeling and Emilia and Ronald P. Recchio of Follansbee.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore a white gown with blush-colored details and beading and carried a bouquet of white and pink roses, lilies and orchids.

Christine Potter of Harvest, Ala., sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and Jessica Spangler of Wheeling, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Mattern of Wheeling, Amy Phillips of Wexford, Pa., and Danielle Barry of Bridgeville, Pa.
Phillip Paul Casinelli of Follansbee, cousin of the groom, was best man. Ushers were Bob Roksandich of Cleveland; Frank Sisinni and Scott Roach, both of Follansbee; and Joe Spangler and Colin Spangler, both of Wheeling, brothers of the bride.
A reception was held at Wilson Lodge in Oglebay Resort, Wheeling.
After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple reside in Wheeling.
The bride is a graduate of Wheeling Central High School and Wheeling Jesuit University. She is employed by the U.S. Federal Courts. The groom graduated from Brooke High School and Wheeling Jesuit University and is a teacher and basketball coach in Brooke County Schools.
