WINTERSVILLE - Elizabeth Bottorf and Matthew Cross were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. July 25 at the Wintersville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clint Quillen officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Tom and Debbie Bottorf of Wintersville.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a chiffon and lace gown and carried a bouquet of calla lilies with white and ivory roses.

She is a 2002 Indian Creek High School graduate. She is a 2007 graduate of George Mason University where she received a bachelor of science degree in education, and a 2008 graduate of Muskingum College where she earned a master's degree in education. She is employed with Fairfax County Public Schools.
The groom is the son of Mary Beth Cross of Follansbee and the late Joel Cross. He is a 2000 graduate of Brooke High School and a 2004 graduate of Waynesburg University. He obtained his bachelor of arts degree in education and is set to receive his master's degree from George Mason University this year. He is also employed with Fairfax County Public Schools.
Sister of the bride, Erika Dorn of Winter Park, Co., was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Michelle Pivik of Vienna, Va.; Brandie Kroon, Bussum, Netherlands; Miranda Lazic, Steubenville; Rebekah McGuire, Nashua, N.H.; and Breanne Silvi, Los Angeles.
Brother of the groom, Jason Cross of Follansbee, was the best man. Ushers were Scott Gusic, Martinsburg, W.Va.; Matt Decagna, New York, N.Y.; Adam Rullo, Somerset, Pa.; Grif Barhight, Fairfax, Va.; and Aaron Lastoria, Columbus.
Megan Drinkwine, cousin of the bride, was the flowergirl. Joshua Drinkwine, cousin of the bride, was the ringbearer. Both are from Sterling, Va.
A reception was held at Glessner Ballroom at Oglebay Resort.
The couple reside in Bristow, Va.
