ZIMMERMAN, Joseph A., 57, of Steubenville, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Valley Hospice Care Center North.
He was born in Steubenville on January 14, 1952, a son of the late Joseph J. and Betty Jane Ralston Zimmerman.
Joseph was a member of American Legion Argonne Post 33, PNA and PAC. He worked for Weirton Steel and was an Army veteran.
Surviving are his son, Aaron Zimmerman of Towson, Md.; and two sisters, Betty Jo (Richard) Dixon of Weirton, W.Va and Mary (Chip) Antonacci of Tiltonsville, Ohio.
Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home, 611 North 4th Street, Steubenville (Formerly McClave Funeral Home) on Wednesday from 2 4 and 7:30 - 9 p.m., where a service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Kenn Sickle officiating.
Burial at Union Cemetery, where Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad will perform military honors.
