Rosemarie Bragg

BRAGG, Rosemarie, 63, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at her daughter's home in Stanley, NC.

Born June 13, 1946, in Weirton, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Gregory and Mary Ann Mackey Bejczi.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond K. Bragg; brother, Anthony Bejczi; and dear friend, Pegeen Opet.

For 16 years, Rosemarie worked for Weirton Medical Center where she was the office manager for the physical therapy department.

She was a very loving, devoted and fashionable friend and mother who enjoyed wine and travel, as well as shopping and spending time with her family, friends and beloved dog, Gracie.

Rosemarie was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, where she served as a reader and greeter. She also was a member of the Christian Mothers.

Mrs. Bragg is survived by her daughters, Lisa Cooper and her husband Larry of Stanley, NC and Roseanne LaRosa and her husband Robert, of Weirton; and dear friends Steve Opet and Vicki and Gary Williams.

Friends will be received Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m Saturday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church with the Reverend Father Tony Thurston officiating.

Interment will be in the St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
