Albert D. Ralston

RALSTON, Albert D. "Al," 76, of Steubenville, died Monday, November 30, 2009, inTrinity West.

He was born February 3, 1933, in Wheeling, the son of the late Wesley and Blanche Barton Ralston.

He was a retired millwright from Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel Corp. and an Army veteran of the Korean War. Al was a booster of Steubenville High School.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Barrett Ralston.

Al is survived by his son, Randy (Renee) Ralston of Steubenville; daughter, Sandy (Scott) Deel of St. Clairsville; grandson, Randy Ralston and granddaughter, Terri (R.J.) Faldowski.

Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home (the former McClave Funeral Home), 611 N. Fourth St. on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. where services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Laurie Armstrong officiating. Burial at Oakland Cemetery, Mingo Junction, Ohio, where the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad will perform military honors.
