Fedele Antonio Bozzelli

BOZZELLI, Fedele Antonio, 82, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, in Valley Hospice North, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 18, 1927, in Roseto Valfortore, Provincia di Foggia, Italy.

He immigrated to the United States with his future wife and in-laws in 1958. He was employed at Trans-Buckeye Sheet and Strip (Quality Control Manager), at McCrory's (Shoe Repair), and Sears (Warehouse).

He was a member of the former St. Pius X Catholic Church, now Triumph of the Cross Church. For 27 years, he and his wife volunteered their time at the CCHS Band's Football Fish Fry.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Michele and Aquilina (Gallucci) Bozzelli; two brothers, Filippo Bozzelli, and Lucio Bozzelli; sister-in-law, Carmela (Giuseppe) Bozzelli, and father-in-law, Lorenzo Romano.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Antonietta (Romano) Bozzelli; daughter, Lina Bozzelli and her husband, Steven Dykes of Powell, Ohio; son, Michael Bozzelli of Steubenville; mother- in-law, Maria Rosa Romano of Steubenville; three brothers, Giuseppe "Peppino" Bozzelli of Aylesbury, Mario Bozzelli of Roseto Valafortore, and Pompeo "Tony" (Mary Jean) Bozzelli of Burke, Va.; sisters-in-law, Raquel (Filippo) Bozzelli and Ziba (Lucio) Bozzelli; cousins, Maria Bozzelli of Rome, Italy and Philip (Gail) Bozzelli of Arlington, Va.; nephews, Alex (Laura), Michael, Ali and Lorenzo Bozzelli and Larry Romano (Teri); nieces, Lina Bozzelli. Jacqueline (David) Fee, Michael (Ken) Stockard, Mina Bozzelli and Rosemarie Lally, and several great-nephews and great-nieces.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 in Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father Nau as celebrant.

Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for future gravesite memorials and mass intentions.
