Howard K. Weinberg Jr.

WEINBERG, Howard K. Jr., 67, of Steubenville, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009, in the Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, Ohio.

He was born December 3, 1941, in Steubenville, son of the late Howard K. Weinberg Sr. and Jean Lois Irwin Weinberg.

Howard is a member of the Toronto American Legion, Post No. 86, and is a 1959 graduate of the Jefferson Union High School.

He is a U.S. Army veteran and is retired from the former Weirton Steel Corp.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Donald Baker.

Howard is survived by his wife, Donna J, Baker Weinberg, whom he married August 2, 1974; a son, Ronald Dawson of Steubenville; a daughter, Julie Cunningham and husband, Jerry of Steubenville; a sister, Joanne Scharfenberg and husband, Tom of Toronto; seven grandchildren and one great- grandson.

A celebration service of Howard's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the funeral home with Pastor Tommy Mills officiating.

Burial will follow at the Island Creek Cemetery, Jefferson County Road 46 and Ohio 213, Toronto.
