MAJEWSKI, Eugene "Doc" age 69, of Scio, went home to be with Lord, Monday, November 9, 2009, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born June 10, 1940, in Steubenville, he was a son of the late John Paul Majewski and Bertie Majeski. He graduated from Jefferson Union High School in 1958. He worked for Y and O Coal Co. of Hopedale and ResCare of Cadiz before his retirement.
"Doc" was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dogs.
Preceding him in death is a sister-in-law, Ruth Majeski.
Surviving are his companion of 35 years Barbara Majewski; two sons, Brian R. Majewski of Scio and Robert E. (Kelly) Majewski of Wheeling, W.Va.; six grandchildren Michael Majewski of Stow, Natalie Majewski of Dover and Kelsey and Kamryn Majewski of Martinsburg, W.Va. and Jordan and Lily Bullock of Florida; a brother, Rev. John P. Majeski of Akron, two nephews, a niece and several cousins.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Koch Funeral Home, Scio with Rev. David Lee.
