David L. Chambers

CHAMBERS, David L. 67 of Bethany, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at the Wheeling Medical Park Hospital, Wheeling, WV.

Dave was born on December 23, 1941, a son of the late A. Lamont and Agnes McMahon Chambers. He is also preceded in death by his brother, William "Bill" Chambers and son-in-law, James L. Willis, Sr.

Dave was retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Bethany, WV. He was a member of the Bethany and Wellsburg Eastern Star, Bethany Masonic Lodge and Fire Department, Cedar Lodge in Follansbee, Cantankerous T's. and Northern Panhandle Antique Car Club.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Lou Wells Chambers at home; two daughters: Ella Ambrose and husband, Craig of Bethany, WV, Laura Willis of Wellsburg, WV; 1 brother: Robert "Bob" Chambers and wife, Charlotte of Bethany, WV; 1 sister-in-law: Barbara Chambers of Bethany, WV; 3 grandsons: Craig and Justin Ambrose and Jimmy Willis

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. at the Chambers Funeral Home, 1030 Main St. Wellsburg, WV, and November 11, 2009 visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethany Memorial Church with Rev. Scott Thayer officiating.

Private internment at the convenience of the family.

Eastern Star services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 6:45 p.m. at the Chambers Funeral Home.
