Sharon DeLong

DeLONG, Sharon K., 52, of Weirton, W.Va., died Wednesday, October 28, 2009, in Valley Hospice Care Center South, Liza's Place, Wheeling.

She was born November 2, 1956, in Washington, Pa., a daughter of the late Charles and Norma Alloway Smith.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. DeLong, who died on June 4, 2008; a brother, Richard Smith; a nephew, Duane Smith.

She is survived by one son, Michael DeLong, of Weirton; two stepsons, Jacob DeLong of Peyton, Colo., and Josh DeLong of Hookstown, Pa; and one sister, Serenna (Kevin) Young of Fombell, Pa.

Visitation Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home, 3721 Main St., Weirton, with services at 10:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Dana Snodgrass officiating.

Burial in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
