Ruth Musgrave

MUSGRAVE, Ruth Elnora Merryman, 79, of Dover, Ohio, formerly of Wintersville, went to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness on October 14, 2009.

She was born on February 20, 1930, at the family home in Bloomingdale, Ohio. She was Protestant by faith and loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She played piano and organ in area churches and was retired from the former St. John Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Merryman in 1933 and her mother, Martha Virginia Hervey Merryman; four sisters, Mary Murdock, Louise McClurg, Ethelda Trachsel and Ann McClure and three infant grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jim "E.J." Musgrave; daughter, Paula Cork of Bethesda, Ohio; sons, Roger (Annie) Musgrave of Orlando, Fla., and Clifford (Peggy) Musgrave of New Philadelphia, Ohio; daughter, Rose Mary (Ronald) Grimm of Wintersville, Ohio; sisters, Erma (Donald) Vetter and Kathryn Vale, both of Fowler, Ind.; five grand- children and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where friends may also call on Saturday, 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Vaughn Davis officiating.

Burial in Bloomingdale Cemetery.
