MINGO JUNCTION - Harold "Chuck" and Gloria J. Simmons celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Wells Township Community Center.
They were married Aug. 22, 1959, by the Rev. J. Henry Thorhauer at Two Ridges United Presbyterian Church in Wintersville.
She is the daughter of the late Wayne and Hazel Zesiger. His parents were the late Harold and Thelma Simmons.

She is employed at the Huntington Bank's Toronto office, and he is employed at Franciscan University of Steubenville.
The couple have two sons, Douglas of Mingo Junction and Richard of Georgetown, Pa., and four grandchildren.
