Beverly Custer

CUSTER, Beverly, 71, of Newell, passed away Monday, July 20, 2009.

She was born June 23, 1938, in Weirton, a daughter of the late Harold and Anna Myers Chambers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Custer, and a sister, Lois Cook.

She is survived by her second husband, Clyde Custer, at home; three sons, Charles (Laura) Custer of New Cumberland, Bill Custer and Jimmy Custer of Newell; four grandchildren, Becky, Robbie, Jennifer and Brian; two brothers, Harold (Esta) Chambers of Weirton, and Jim (Nancy) Chambers of New Cumberland; and a sister, Linda Sue (Robert) Jeffery of Weirton.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Newell Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2009. Pastor James Rhodes will be officiating.

Interment will follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery, New Cumberland, W.Va.
