CORTEZ, Marie L., formerly of Steubenville, died June 22, 2009, in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Marie was born in 1918, in Canonsburg, Pa., and moved to St. Petersburg in 1979.
Marie enjoyed playing cards and bingo and had a vivid imagination.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Levandoski, husband, Mike in 1999 and son, Mike Jr. in 1998
Surviving are three children, Mary Ann Rhoades of Dixon, Illinois, Helen Ewin of St. Petersburg, Florida, and John Cortez of Houston, Texas, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
Visitation on Monday, June 29, 2009, from 5-7 p.m. at Brett Funeral Home, 4810 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at St. Judes Cathedral in St. Petersburg.
Burial will follow.
