Helen Andreozzi

ANDREOZZI, Helen Marie, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009, in Memorial Hermann Hospital with her daughter, Vickie, by her side.

She was born September 19, 1922, in Mingo Junction, Ohio, to Demitre Michael and Anna (Washel) Toma.

She was a homemaker and attended both St. Jude and St. John's Catholic Churches. She was a member of the Baytown Senior Citizen Center and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She enjoyed bingo, traveling, watching golf, and spending time with her friends at the Senior Center. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Louis Andreozzi; daughter, Judith Anne Schoor; granddaughter, Cari Lynn Allen; sister, Anne Maffioli; and stepbrother, Nick Raska. She is survived by her son, Eugene Anthony Andreozzi and wife, Debbie, of Houston; daughters, Vickie Yost and husband, Michael, her tireless caretaker, with whom she resided in Baytown, Sandra Wisher and husband, Richard, of Steubenville, Ohio, Linda Duco and husband, Dom, of Wintersville, Ohio, Terri Rasmussen and husband, Greg, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Dawn Scott and husband, Dino, of Steubenville, Ohio; brother, George Toma; sister, Patti Richards; grandchildren, Steven and Kathy Duco, Doug and Cindy Duco, Ryan and Trisha Schoor, Ashly and Joe Guernaccini, Holly Schoor, Chasta Allen, Dana Scott, and Carter Anthony Andreozzi; great-grandchildren, Spencer, Tony, Nick, Cari, Joey, Camden and Donovan; and special friend, Ruth McCarey.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2009, 2 p.m. at Crespo & Jirrels Chapel.

A reception will follow in the Crespo & Jirrels Family Center.
