Contracts approved were for Gary Bracone, eighth-grade football coach and softball assistant coach; Michael Wilson, seventh-grade football coach; Randy Cottis, varsity baseball assistant coach; Matthew Mark, varsity baseball and football assistant coach; Clay Edgerly, seventh-grade boys basketball coach; Ed Fithen, eighth-grade boys basketball coach; Scott LaRue, junior high track coach; Bernadine Edgerly, seventh-grade volleyball coach; Paula Grabbits, eighth-grade volleyball coach; and Troy Fetty, junior high wrestling assistant coach. The board approved the following extra-duty supplemental contracts at Wayne Elementary School: Enice Boyde, DH classroom; Judith DiGeorge, DH classroom; Nicole McDonald, technology assistant; Ashley Vitello, literacy assistant; Cathy DiBenedetto, math assistant, character education adviser and student senate adviser; Lynn Mikesell, before and after school care coordinator; Dawn Carson, S.T.A.R.T. coordinator and lead teacher; Carolyn Cole, choir; and Linda Lenzi, facilitator. Linda Lenzi was approved as the district's gifted liaison, while Carolyn Cole also was named to lead Hills Elementary School choir. Dan Bruno was approved for choir at Indian Creek High School and Wintersville Elementary School. Others receiving extra-duty supplemental contracts from Wintersville Elementary were Mary Jo DiPietro, technology assistant; Donna Ardito, literacy assistant; Lola Ellsworth, math assistant; Christine Peterson, lead teacher and before and after school care coordinator; Amy Lane, character education adviser; and Stacey Zink, facilitator. Mike Cottis was approved as the district's Web master, Indian Creek Junior High School's athletic director and assistant baseball head coach, and John Nese was approved as the junior high's athletic director and guidance counselor. Others approved at the junior high school include Gloria Hess, family and consumer science; David Lucas, seventh-grade football coach and varsity track assistant coach; Brant Starkey, junior high wrestling coach; Ashley Holenka, eighth-grade girls basketball coach; and Joseph Hammack, varsity football and baseball assistant coach. David Kell was approved as varsity baseball and football assistant coach, and Dan Hartman was approved as ninth-grade volleyball coach and junior high track coach. Approved the following classified substitutes: Elizabeth Brenda, custodian and secretary; Amy Carter, secretary, classroom aide and cafeteria; Jay Calhoun, custodian; Jonathan Figel, custodian; Brandon Lanaghan, custodian; and Denise Romanyak, classroom aide. Approved entering into an agreement with Debbie Copeland to provide physical therapy services to designated students June 15 through July 24 at the rate of $40 per 45-minute session. Approved the following volunteers for the 2009-10 school year: Dave Connor, varsity football coach; Denny Cowser, eighth-grade football coach; James Hopkins, seventh-grade football coach; John Kyczykowski, varsity softball assistant coach; Roger Hilty, varsity soccer assistant coach; Kristin Ferguson, varsity volleyball coach; Kaili Ridgely, varsity volleyball coach; and Melissa Brown, varsity volleyball coach.
