CONNOVICH, John J., 64, of Weirton, W.Va., passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008, at his home.
Born October 12, 1944, in Steubenville, Ohio, he was the son of Mary Laburda Connovich of Weirton and the late John E. Connovich.
Mr. Connovich was self-employed; an active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Weirton; and an avid square dancer.
In addition to his mother, John is survived by his son, Ronald Connovich and his wife, Faith, of Lima, Ohio; daughters, Deanne Manestar and her husband, Ivan, and Dana Smith and her husband, Dave, all of Greensboro, N.C. and Danielle Mihaltian of Westerville, Ohio; sister, Mary Jo Long and her husband, Jerry, of Weirton; six grandchildren; and long-time companion, Linda Harper.
Friends will be received Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral services at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Mr. Connovich's son, Ronald will officiate.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
