Edith Quattrocchi
QUATTROCCHI, Edith, 89, of Follansbee, W.Va., died Saturday, August 9, 2008, in Trinity Medical Center West.
She was born January 14, 1919, in New Cumberland, W.Va., a daughter of the late Pasquale and Eugenia Puzzuole.
She was a homemaker; a member of the St. Anthony Church; and served on the Altar and Rosary Society.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven sisters, Mary Giandominico (Adam), Julia Miller (Steve), Rose Lancia (Pete), Angeline Menella (Mike), Madeline Bright (George), Grace Tokorchick (Paul) and Corrine Puzzuole; and four brothers, Dominic (Jennie), Joseph, Patsy (Ida) and George.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel, whom she married on April 26, 1947; two daughters, Christine Quattrocchi Stucin and her husband, John, of Follansbee, W.Va., and Marianne Quattrocchi Heaton and her husband, Dave, of Follansbee; one son, Frank Quattrocchi and his wife, Francine, of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; one sister, Yelonda Puzzuole Canei of Follansbee; two sisters-in- law, Margaret Puzzuole of Steubenville, Ohio, and Antoinette Puzzuole of Weirton, W.Va.; ten grandchildren, Daniel Quattrocchi and his wife, Amy, Joseph Quattrocchi, Jonnah Buchanan and her husband, James, Jacob Quattrocchi, Adrienne Stucin, Kristin Stucin, Merideth Stucin, Jenna Heaton, Zachary Heaton and Ryan Heaton; three great-grand children, Roman, Ava and Zachary Quattrocchi.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, August 12, 2008, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the James Funeral Home, 1245 Main Street, Follansbee, where Vigil services will be held on Tuesday, at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at 10 a.m., at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee, with Fr. Pete Giannamore officiating.
Internment to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
