4-H skillathon winners announced
Five top Jefferson County 4-H skillathon teams were honored in competition.
They included:
First-place team, Jacqueline and Jennifer Smith, Alexis Valuska, all Blazing Saddles 4-H Club members; Ashley DeMattio, 43 Ramblers 4-H Club; and Melaina Karkoska, Country Classics 4-H Club.
Second-place team, Dustin and Tyler McAfee, Benjamin Boyd and Tyler Bly Tyler, all Sunrise Rascals 4-H Club 4-H; and Blaine Cline, Country Classics 4-H Club .
Third-place team, Keirsten Harris, Wildwood Critters 4-H ; Hunter and Taylor Johnson and , Harley and Graceon Ehrman, all Free Spirits 4-H Club members.
Fourth-place team, Courtney Jarman, Ronni Barcus, Clint Henry, Jimmy Henry and Vincent Kendjorsky, all Warren Ridge Wranglers members.
Fifth-place team: Sara Waggoner, and David Kinney, both Bits 'n' Pieces 4-H Club members; Chelsea Dalrymple, and Emily and Brock Throckmorton, all Free Spirits 4-H Club members.
