Four Seasons entertained by Nixon

WEIRTON - Members of Four Seasons Senior Citizens Association met at the Serbian American Cultural Center with Janet Durbin-Kost presiding.

Soloist Jackie Nixon was introduced by Joseph Calvarese. Nixon sang a medley classics. Calvarese announced Paul Grant, a keyboard artist from Mingo Junction, will entertain at the July meeting.

Guests were Jeana Dattillo, Dan Troia, JoAnn Hicks and Janet Crawford.

JoAnn Bugin gave the opening prayer and read a definition of the American Flag in honor of Flag Day. Kost announced Jeanette LaRosa has assumed the position of club secretary for the remainder of the year. LaRosa gave three reports and announced the July meeting menu will be a picnic buffet.

Ruth Ladomersky, membership chairman, said there are 223 members with openings available.

June birthdays and wedding anniversaries were observed.

Joseph Calvarese won the club dinner prize. Half-and-half drawing winners were Durbin-Kost, Ruth Ladomersky and Michael DiBiase. Door prize winners were Ida Calvarese, Beverly DiBiase, Eileen Mrvos, John Prebeg and Norma Yoho.

In honor of Father's Day, scratch-off lottery tickets were distributed to men in attendance.

JoAnn Bugin gave the closing prayer.

The next meeting will be July 16 at the center.
