FARMER, John T., 83, of Steubenville, Ohio, died Saturday, May 10, 2008, in Trinity West.
He was born May 6, 1925, in Steubenville, he was the son of the late John B. and Virginia Miles Farmer. John was also preceded in death by four brothers, Gus, Walter, Robert and Ernest; and one sister, Adele Tamburro.
John retired from the City of Steubenville Water Works, where he was a pump operator, and he served his country in the Army and Navy during WWII and Korean War. John was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Gorman Farmer, whom he married June 15, 1980; one son, Doug Farmer of Steubenville; and one sister, Mary Perazollia of Tampa, Fla.
Calling hours are Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., where services will be held Wednesday at noon, with Pastor Ronald Miller officiating.
Burial in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates.
