ANTONUCCI, Carlo A., 94, of Steubenville, Ohio, died Sunday, May 4, 2008, in Bolger Country Club Manor.
He was born June 8, 1913, in Steubenville, the son of the late Fedele and Rosina Antonucci.
Carlo was the retired owner-operator (1950-1998) of the Ohio Novelty Co.; a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church; American Legion Brilliant Post; member and Past President of Theta Chi Alpha Fraternity; Jefferson County Sportsman Club; the Mingo K of C and he served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Grendel Antonucci; one daughter, Elizabeth “Betty” Fisher; four brothers, Carmen, Salvatore, Angelo and Leo; and sisters, Helen Smarella, Delfina Tiberio and Stella Carapellotti.
Surviving are one son, Richard (Jane) Antonucci of Richmond, Ohio; one daughter, Carol Flynn of Hingham, Ma.; one sister, Virginia “Honey” Farr of Steubenville; eight grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.
Calling hours are Friday 4-7 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville.
A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, with Fr. William Cross as celebrant.
Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
There will be a Vigil service Friday at 4 p.m.
