My Idea to promote jobs is to get rid of the far left commie sherrod brown and others like him. brown isn't up for reelection this time around but we can make him insignificant by taking over the Senate this Nov.

“If anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either” (2 Thess. 3:10).

If an increase in the minimum wage to $9 an hour, or $15 an hour is good for the economy, why not make it $20, or better yet, $50 an hour?

Here's why.

Higher minimum wage leads to higher unemployment, and has slowed a potential recovery to a crawl. In addition, it harms those most vulnerable, folks on fixed incomes; the elderly, and the poor.

Here is some enlightenment for those who truly want to understand the issue:

The liberal idiots in this country need to wise up. You cannot just take from the middle class to take care of the poor. The "wealthy" don't care about taxes. They have tax attorneys, accountants, to get out of paying taxes. What they have to pay is essentially a drop in the bucket to them. It does not hurt them at all and if it did, they will just pack it up and leave to live off of the money they earned. The "poor" don't pay taxes, this worthless stinking, lazy horde of bums is like a disease, a parasite, a leach that just drains that which others earned. The middle class is the ones that get shafted. We pay, and pay, and pay, tax increases hurt us, min. wage increases make our money worth less, and despite paying a lot in taxes, we have to support the slobs as well. There is a solution TomSays, lower taxes, cut entitlements, stop sending money to other countries, and most of all, remove voting rights from people on welfare.

Tomsays, I'm sure that the author of this letter knows far more about economics than you. Do you know how min. wage affects the rest of us that aren't working under the golden arches? If you raise min. wage from $7.50 to $10.00/hr. You just cut the wages of the guy making $20.00/hr. back to $17.50. How this changes the economy is simple. The guy with the good job is working for money that is worth less. Since everyone is making $10.00/hr. the price for everything increases because businesses have to pay more. Using my numerical example, this is like cutting $200 a pay from the budget of a worker with a good job. That is $400 a MONTH!!! There goes the new car the guy was going to buy. The contractor he was going to hire to remodel his kitchen, now has one less job. There is one more home in foreclosure.

Your Faux News mentality stinks. Every time the minimum wage has been raised, the lives of those improve. Oregon is an excellent example where a high minimum wage has grown their economy and jobs. People who through no fault of their own are unemployed, need to receive unemployment compensation till they get back on their feet. There is no reason why that program needed to be cut. Job training is key to getting a good job - the more programs available the better. You and your conservative Republicans like Senator Rob Portman are DEAD wrong. All you care about is BIG tax cuts for the Richest Americans.
