Jane Doe is so brave. I cannot imagine going through this in high school. No matter the ruling today she is so BRAVE and we are so proud of her! I cannot imagine being in high school with the social media around today. Thank goodness her parents and extended family are a strong group who did NOT give in to political pressure and pressed charges. TOP NOTCH!

I'm very glad to hear that at least one boy had the decency to admit that what he did was wrong and was embarrassed for his part in the tragedy/crime.

The boys need to be punished but it is the parents who are really responsible for the way their kids behave. What else would we expect of a group of drunk testosterone fueled teenage boys who haven't been taught how to respect girls enough to not rape them. This is the responsibility of the parents and they seem to have miserably failed their children. Now these boys will be punished for the negligence/stupidity of their parents.

Has anyone even attempted to investigate whether the girl was drugged or is that something everyone would prefer to ignore to limit the involvement of others?

It sounds as if these kids get drunk and stay out all night on a regular basis. I would have been grounded after the first time and yet these kids have parents that don't seem to care or even notice their kids aren't home.
