Big Red football coach Reno Saccoccia says he will testify in the trial of two Steubenville football players accused of raping a 16-year-old girl last August. Contacted by The Plain Dealer early this afternoon, Saccoccia declined to answer questions about the ongoing trial because he is expecting to testify. He said he would answer questions once the trial is over.

I did'n know, but got pressure from some in the community:
In September, Saccoccia told The Plain Dealer that he didn't "do the Internet" and that he was unaware of what happened or any of the chatter about it on social media. He said he hadn't discussed it with his players despite the fact he was getting pressure from some in the community to bench some of the players involved, even if they weren't charged with crimes.
