@JamesT "RapeRedRape will be known rather than the football program and the school will be the butt of jokes for generations to come!"

Indeed. This sordid affair will cast a very long shadow over both the school and town alike. Steubenville Jill has become an internet meme, with her idiotic remarks about "tents made out of desks". Even the lame attempts by Steubenville residents to "Stand Up for Steubenville!" have been marred by such thoughtless faux-pas as the wearing of Big Red jerseys and sweatshirts. This leaves one with the impression that the town is not concerned with the victim so much as their precious football program.

Coach Saccoccia will be forever infamous for his remarks to the New York Times reporter: "You’re going to get yours. And if you don’t get yours, somebody close to you will." In most jurisdictions, any coach who made such remarks to a reporter like that would be fired before the day is out. Not in Steubenville

It will be most interesting to see who precisely is subpoenaed, and who testifies as to what.

Personally, I'd like to see Jane Hanlin on the stand, to explain under oath why it was, precisely, that she took two full weeks to recuse herself, when there was a blatant conflict of interest. I'd also like her to explain under oath why it was that she attempted to intimidate the family of the victim into not pressing charges.

I'd also like to like to see Frank Bruzzese explain how his various and sundry statements made as to the innocence of certain parties is compatible with his position as an Assistant prosecutor. Mr. Bruzzese has every right, as an American citizen, to express his opinions, but if he wishes to make pronouncements as to various parties' ostensible innocence or guilt, then he should perhaps step-down as Assistant prosecutor.

The world is laughing at Steubenville and Jefferson County as a horrible corrupt dark cesspool. Over twenty thousand different articles from around the world on the psychotic community standards of anything for a teen aged game, even rape!

From the embarrassing " Steubenville Jill " on Dr.Phil to the rapid " Roll Red Roll " looney fans, the town has successfully forever cemented its image as a collective array of low lifes, derelicts, has beens, & never was.

Waiting for a movie , either documentary or drama on this basketcase known as Steubenville. While other local schools have punished their athletes more severely for lesser acts, Steubenville dyfies & mystifies the world! RapeRedRape will be known rather than the football program and the school will be the butt of jokes for generations to come!

The adjudication of this case by the State of Ohio is only the beginning. The Feds will get their turn next, who may likely cast a much larger net than the State has.

Why have the owners of the party houses not been charged for supplying liquor to these teenagers? Let the coverup continue! Turn a blind eye to the criminal parents supplying alcohol to 16 year olds! Kids will be kids huh! 21 doesnt mean 21 does it??? Lets just lower the drinking age to 16 then! There are more then these two shown dragging the girl around. How about the coaches he instructed the players to delete the photos on their phones? The coaches should be immediately charged with the crimes they committed! It is so sad to see the authorities not understanding that "Rape is Rape" and everyone associated with this crime deserves be be arrested and a trial help for their participation too. Steubenville is really a messed up place to live.
