We should pass a law like they have in Sweden. Every person over 18 years of age and not a felon or nutcase has to own a rifle or shotgun. Pistols optional.

During an emergency, such as civil unrest caused by natural disasters and political events which result in law enforcement being overwhelmed, large capacity magazines are needed. Ask those store owners in LA. Government has shown it is unable to protect its citizens time and again.
