Rape is rape. This victim deserves justice. Those who refused to speak out about what they saw and those who are covering it up need to be prosecuted too.

As with any other crime relating to rape or kidnapping, You can say that the trial will be fair, but in a small town there are the elite fe that seem to remain above the laws. Such as letting a 16 yr old go to ca. on vacation while at house arrest. He should have been back in juvi when his "extended" family went. I do believe that it is entirely those people that are against seeing this stuff come to light that are feeding the frenzy of its about Steubenville or Big Red. This has always been about the rape, and the possibility of it being covered up as has happened in the past.It was said once, where there is smoke there is fire. Most rumours have some amount of truth to them. The rumors of other rape cases in the same light is telling. There is at least some truth to this.. regardless of who decides to flame it..

She is a very brave young lady to go forwards with this case - those who committed and those who watched this rape happen should be very ashamed of themselves. The young ladies amongst them should think, the next time it could be me (what a sobering thought)

Is the trial an alledged trial; presuming nothing happened; or that maybe all the info and pictures were made up in Hollywood???????

She is a victim of all kinds of stuff.

And those who do not want to step forward with information because they do not want to find their name on the internet in years to come need to only walk in this girl's shoes a minute, while she will do it the rest of her life.

Think about it boys and girls who stood idlely that night and for the past several months.....man-up!
