Davison's webpage is pretty much useless information. It provides NO DAY TO DAY UPDATES of the case. The city touts that it enables full disclosure....it does nothing other than offering verbal pablum for a corrupt town and county that has its back up against the wall for once in its sad existence. You think $7,500. is a high price for the city to pay? Wait till the civil suits start against the city, county, school board, and all involved coaches and adults. Get yer checkbook ready Steubenville and Jefferson County!

Yes, the parents and coaches where these alcohol drinking parties were held in their homes need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

That's the problem with Steubenville it is beyond "unacceptable" to look the other way when underage drinking is going on and to purchase alcohol for underage minors. That is a criminal offense and the homeowners where the drinking took place should have been prosecuted. I'm sure we can all agree had alcohol not been a factor this would of never happened. Whether the parents were home or not is irrelevant. What is relevant is the fact that it is their home and are ultimately responsible for what goes on there. When my parents left me home alone at that age they had a neighbor come and check every so often. I suggest the victim sue the homeowners at each of those parties in civil court.
