Beware culture of death
To the editor: Again, during an election cycle, we witness the sneering sense of superiority of the culture of death toward people of faith. Every attempt is made to disparage those who believe in a greater law than can be promulgated by man. This law contains only 10 items and was given to Moses on Mount Sinai. Any who oppose those who reverence and are complicit in the torture and extermination of pre-natal humanity are deemed extremists. Every attempt is made to marginalize those who insist that all mankind has an inherent dignity and a right to life. There is no “right” to kill an innocent. Scipio, in “De Republica” states it well: “Unjust inventions of man are neither to be considered nor spoken of as rights.” The “right” to abortion is the ultimate “unjust invention of man.” What are any who defend this mistaken judgment capable of in other situations?
