STEUBENVILLE — The words “personal trainer” could sound expensive, hard to obtain or seem to be meant for the Hollywood set. That isn’t so. The business is all about health and available locally and affordably, say mother-and-son Faustyna and David Fatula, who are the trainers at the Fatula Fitness Studio, Suite B, 2228 Sunset Blvd. The business is an outgrowth of the strength training embarked upon by Faustyna Fatula about a decade ago, and it’s about motivation, not just a temporary exercise or diet or weight-loss program. “I’ve been there and done that. I know what it’s like to not have hope. I want to change people for the positive,” she said. “I was in a downward spiral. I wasn’t feeling healthy. I was lethargic. I was in my early 40s and I did not feel good. I thought, ‘I don’t want to live like this,’” she said.
