| | Movies, Movies, MoviesMay 6, 2011 - Eddie KokosinskiBroke, Broke, Broke.... It cost too much to go see a movie when you're trying to save some money to go on vacation. It's a good thing the drive-in started last week so I can hopefully go see a couple of these movies for $14 instead of $21 (minus any food or drinks). Just have to time it right so one is starting and one is ending on a different or same screen (happens rarely for me to sit at the same screen) Thor - Has to be good. When hasn't a Marvel movie been good lately? Green Lantern - Ryan Reynolds as your main character in a somewhat serious role makes me nervous. Pirates of the Caribbean 4 - 3 wasn't very good, but I'm up for another adventure. Transformers 3 - Might be the one theater movie I go see this summer because I love watching robots smash other robots in giant cities X-Men First Class - Iffy. X3 was ok (barely, they tried to fit too much into 2 hours) so I'm hoping that going back to the 60s works, since we've seen most of these mutants in the present as 20-30 yr olds. 2 mutants w/ super cool eye beams? Explain! Or is this a stand alone film? (from here I had to look up on Yahoo! what comes out that I want to see in theaters/drive in. I'll tell you now that I'm skipping Hangover 2 for now) Kung Fu Panda 2 - I want to know where the strongest in the world go from here....skadoosh Super 8 - Filmed in the valley, so I almost feel obligated to see it. Trailer was awesome tho. Harry Potter 7.2 - Ha! Fooled you..I'd rather go watch Winnie the Pooh that weekend. Captain America - How did I forget you!? I'm really hoping this is the best of the crop this summer. The rest that should be good, but you never know: Cowboys vs Aliens, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Conan & The Hangover 2. What do you want to see this summer? Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | |
