LOST, etc.

February 23, 2011 - Eddie Kokosinski
So I know I'm late to the party that ended last year, but I just finished season 4 of LOST and I have to say, Dane Cook was right. Even tho I don't have to deal with commercials, at the end of most episodes I usually sigh and wonder what is going on. And then I usually end up starting the next episode right away to find out. Last night was a great example of that. I started around 6 or 7 and by 1 am I finished the season and if didn't have to come to work, I would have started up 5.

If you're like me and didn't watch it when it was on its initial TV run and have Netflix, it's a great way to put Netflix to use. Since the middle of January I've had probably 10 marathons (first 3 seasons are looooooong but great, 4th one is too, but it's only half as long) and Comcast is probably hating me right now since I've used 180 gb the last month or so. If you watch it and can't get into it by episode 3, it isn't for you. But if you can get sucked into the world quickly, it becomes one of your favorite TV shows you wished you watched before so you could join in on water-cooler talk.

If you find a cheat to game that you are stuck on, does it really matter if you cheat? If I can't get passed a section of a game (Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and its stupid Blue Room) does it make it wrong to use the cheat? I know one person would say no, because he did it the hard way. Me? I tried and tried. Discovered how to get around the Blue Rooms difficulty and am now on my way to beating the game. Do I feel like I should have kept trying? Meh, not really. 2 hours on one 3 minute part is too much. Will I be able to gloat about my accomplishment to my friend? Yeah, because I found a way to beat it easily while he continues to struggle.
