| | Duke boundJanuary 21, 2011 - Mike MathisonCatholic Central's Teddi Jo Maslowski gave a verbal commitment recently to continue her track and field career at Duke University. The Blue Devils landed a wonderful athlete who works as hard in the classroom as she does on the track. There are a lot of brilliant teenage role models around this Valley. Maslowski is at the top of the list. Along with her involvement in the community, she is a 4-time state track champion and the two-time defending state title holder in the 100 hurdles. She also won the 300 hurdles and teamed with Cassy Stevens, Margaret Beigel and Katrina Vosteen to win the 4x200 relay last June. She has no concept how to relax and is all about the competition. She's that good, although you will never hear her say that. Maslowski is humble and that's what makes her so good. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | EZToUse.com |
