The Dark Knight Rises - Casting News

Warner Bros. announced this morning that Anne Hathaway & Tom Hardy have been cast for the third installment in the Batman series directed by Christopher Nolan!

Anne is set to play Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, & Tom is set to play the incredibly strong villain, Bane. What do you think of the casting? I still haven't seen Inception (I know, I know, maybe this weekend), so I'm not really familiar with Tom. Anne, however, I can totally picture as Catwoman! I think she is a great actress, and to play Catwoman, you need that certain quality where you can go from sweet and innocent to devious and scheming. Anne definitely has that quality in her acting.

I have to admit, I wasn't a big fan of this series. I thought it was made too closely after the last set of Batman movies. I wasn't too impressed with Batman Begins either, but The Dark Knight totally made up for it! I'm extremely excited to see this one, too!
