PreSeason, MidSeason, and Playoffs

January 12, 2011 - Eddie Kokosinski
The Bucco's should be starting spring training pretty soon. I haven't seen a sign to be excited yet, but I don't think it can get any worse anyway. Hopefully the pitching staff is up to the task and Doumit gets his groove back (if he isn't traded soon). If we can get good pitching and some decent hitting, a season played around .450 would be great. Either way tho, I can't wait for PirateFest this year!

The Pens started in a slump, went on a great streak, and are now back in the slump as they lost the Winter Classic and Crosby has been hit twice with shots to the head. Tonight is against Montreal, so it should be an ideal time to turn it around and get on the winning track again.

The Steelers season could be won by beating Baltimore this weekend (and hopefully the Jets beat New England). I'm not sure if I'd rather have them play at home in the AFC championship against the Jets (horrible record at home for those games) or go on the road up to New England and have to deal with Brady and Bill Bellichicken.

To take a line from the best gambler on TV, The Steel Curtain is gonna run over Joe Succo and march onto the AFC Championship game where they will destroy ______ and breeze thru a 38-12 win in a rematch against the Seahawks in my Stone Cold Lock of the Cenury, of the Week(s)!
