| | A Hero & the Arsenic AlienDecember 3, 2010 - Eddie KokosinskiIt's becoming a fight for yourself world again. Usually someone saves someone else's life because of selflessness. But sometime in the last week, someone did it for time and a half. A man had a stroke and another decided to jump down and save him before he was going to be creamed by the incoming train. When asked why, he said he couldn't let hit get hit, and also because it's Sunday. He gets time and a half on Sunday and Christmas is right around the corner. While he still did it, you have to wonder if he didn't get time and a half or even if he had to work, would he risk his and his families life to save another? NASA held a press conference yesterday to announce a new discovery that changes 'everything'. While many, including myself, thought that they found something awesomely scary on one of Saturn's Moons, it turned out to be something more local. An organism that subsituted Phosphorous (a basic element found in all forms of life, among 5 others) for Arsenic. Arsenic is similar to Phosphorous, but it continually killed life forms when it was substituted. So when they explored for life outside of Earth, if it had Arsenic, apparently they dismissed it. Guess we are heading back to square one with this whole alien thing, huh? Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | Blog Links |
