No more plastic bags to sit in the dump and no degrade for decades. Restricting smoking to designated areas even when outside (no smoking in farmers markets, around outdoor restaurants, and certain walkways) is aimed to stop smoking among the next generations. But in the last few days San Fran has banned the inclusion of toys inside of kids meals at places like McDonalds and Burger King. I'd have to say that the toy did make the meal that much better and depending on what it was for the month, made me bug my parents to take me until I got the collection. They'll also have to include a fruit or vegetable inside every meal to promote eating healthy. I hope that the rest of the country follows suit, but just like Prop 19, no one will be motivated enough to actually do it. I have the reusable bags, but constantly forget to take them. I don't smoke so, I've got one at least. Fast food is just an easy way out so I don't have to cook and spend a minimal amount of money while doing so. The link I've attached is an argument against the ban, because they should just overhaul everything in the end. Which I don't really disagree with at all. It'd probably be a good idea to do that, because the general population that goes there anyway knows it's bad for you, but it isn't whats good or whats bad. It's all about convenience, me among them. Plus, they won the World Series, wouldn't that be nice? Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | Blog Links |
