Back to normal?
February 11, 2010 - Paul Giannamore
As a week of technological hoo-hah has occurred, in addition to the depressing, endless and ever weightier snowfall, it will be good, I think, to get back to the routine of life. That means actually going to work out tonight after work, even though work is ending about two hours later than normal. The doc gave me a good report the other day. The liver has been convinced that I'm no longer an out-of-control fat guy hellbent on filling my formerly healthy organ with fat cells. And the blood sugar is under control. The weight official total is 37 pounds or something like that, though other scales have put me closer to 55 pounds down. Go figure. I doubt I'm wearing 18 pounds of clothing, though my shoes are size 14 cowboy boots... Nothing like, I figure, a little sweating on a cardio machine to get my mind off the fact that computers suck, cameras suck, cell phones suck and low-tech snow shovels get boring after awhile.
